Plenty of Love

I see the face of a nameless child,

Rejected before she was born,

I see the hurt of a young boys tears,

From a daddy who's caused all the fear,

If I try to do one thing without prayer,

I see your vision though I still ask how ?

I feel your presence as i take the plunge,

sayin, " Son !!! this is gonna be fun ! "

I place my trust in what you've shown.

When I get nervous, acting impatiently,

How I desperately, need the Lord,

Never Forget The Cross

It was a sunny day in Jerusalem,

When I saw the Son of God come down,

He was teaching the way of his Kingdom,

He was teaching the way of Love,

He was filled with compassion for his Father's will,

As he looked above his eyes were filled,

With the purpose of God, And the Pow'r of Heaven,

To preach and to heal,

But the day would come when I'd see him die,

When the cloud's of darkness covered the sky,

When this man of love was beaten and scourged,

And the blood of the Lamb was poured

The earth began shaking, And the Tombs broke forth,

And the veil in the Temple ripped to the floor,

And I felt the words of the Lord,

Say,"My Spirit will hide no more".

I shall never forget your work of Love,

When you gave your life, Lord you gave it all,

When you bore my shame upon that cross,

The picture of Grace, It stains my mind,

Oh.. , and I shall never forget the cross.

It was a cloudy day when my work was done,

When I saw a light piercing the sky,

And my ears beheld a trumpet sound

as my Saviour was coming down.

Well I couldn't contain it, my heart was thrilled,

As I saw my feet leaving the ground,

And I saw the saint's all gathering round,

Singing glory to the Lamb.

Before the hour that time began,

Before the thoughts of God, created man,

His love was a mystery,

And when this world took it's form,

Long before you and I were born,

He had a place in his heart for you and me.

And through the ancient bible days,

Man has tried to find a way to God, man's been seeking God,

But had he not been seeking man,

We would never have found the plan of Jesus,

It would never have been,

Long before God gave the law,

Beyond the day he bore my cross it's clear to me,

Grace is all there's ever been,

And how the Lord Chose to show himself,

To a people filled with pride, yet he rose them up,

And drew them to his side,

And centuries of religious men, without a clue,

Not knowing the heart of God,

But still the Lord is near,

A young boy raised so well, he knew the rules,

Love others as yourself, and he did the best he could,

Growing old he played the game, his heart grew cold,

unbowed to shame, only caring for himself,

And though his heart had turned to stone,

Jesus crushed it and made him his own by Grace,

He was changed by Grace,

And now he's living the best he can,

Walking each day in his Spirit Man, And there's Grace,

Oh thank the Lord there's Grace,

Long before God gave the law,

Beyond the day he bore my cross, It's clear to me,

Grace is all there's ever been,
